New Braunfels River Rules – Comal Guadelupe

These are the New Braunfels River Rules, These Apply to both Comal Tubing And Guadelupe River Tubing within the New Braunfels City Limits. (The Comal River is Completely within the city limits, so If you float the comal river, you will need to know this stuff!  If you have any questions, just ask, we know whats what. 

There are two main rule changes that most dont know about. These will land you a $480 fine, if ignored, and trust us, they are watching! Undercover police, floating the river. Dont take this lightly.

1. No more Double Tubes: Due to safety concerns, tubes over 5 ft in diameter will be allowed.

2. No Disposable containers or packaging: This simply means that any food or drink, brought on the water will first need to be transferred int a re-usable container. (sports bottle, canteen, thermos, tupperware, etc… Not sure if your container is legal?  Ask yourself this. Did I buy it empty? (pass) Did it come with food or beverage in it? (fail – not legal)
